(06/17/08) This listing is mainly to showcase a piece that I did for this Spring's Career Day fashion show here in Dallas. It's inspired by Circus Freaks, Carnival rides, Marionette Dolls, Avant Garde styling, and Film Noir. The last photo is of the cute doll that initially inspired the piece. I'm keeping the prototype, but I did make a pattern for this dress and can custom make this style in other sizes up to an XL (40" bust, 34 waist). I will be taking better quality photos of this piece shortly. This custom made garment will take up to 8 weeks to complete. The black silk dupioni was all hand pleated by me, and have been angled chevron style at each seam. The double ruffled collar has been interfaced into the neckline so it stands up high around the neck rather than flopping down (though if you prefer this look, the collar can be pushed down).
