It's Not Easy Being Green. . .

The more I learn about what goes in to making all the wonderful items I love to buy, the less attractive some of them seem. Rather, the $10 shirt I was so glad to find makes me feel guilty later when I realize it was probably made with cotton full of pesticides which do so much damage to the environment. I've made an effort to green my purchases as much as possible, but sometimes I'm too tempted, or there isn't any better choice available to me. But I've found just changing the way I think...

I have a lot of interests.
I love art, both studying and making it. I like painting, drawing, sculpting, ceramics, knitting, bead and jewelry making, and all kinds of crafts. I'd like to try my hand at making furniture, sewing and crocheting too.
I also love technology, but I am woefully uninformed. I rely on the kindness of friends to teach me about it, and recommend good products.
I love to travel. The place I would most like to travel is Japan, closely followed by China and Peru. Ultimately, I'd like to live in Japan for a few years so that I can explore everything it has to offer, festivals, natural beauty, temples, art, and more!
