Most of the Old World or Neo-classic designs on the market today are direct reproductions of what the piece would look like if it were new. The Casey Collection's desire has always been to capture the essence of the ruin. Broken here and there, and with the look of ancient, time-weathered stone, these pieces seem like they should be in a museum. An important design aspect of The Casey Collection pieces is that they are "humanly scaled". Richard Casey sculpts pieces that, if it were an actual piece from a ruin, would normally be too large. He is able to scale his designs so that they don't look miniaturized. If only we can show this collection to you in real life the are stately, dramatic and all of Casey items are focal points sculptures ,plaques , Architectural elements & Fragments, grills, Brackets, Corbels & Shelves, Niches and much more, they are all statement pieces.
