Combining form, function, and style, Typhoon has created a unique line of cookware tools, kitchen gadgets, and dinnerware items that coordinate with a variety of home decors and occasions. Designed with a contemporary flair, many of the housewares products blend a sophisticated sensibility with a retro edginess. Living up to its name, the Vintage Kitchen 2-1/4-quart colander adds a stylish quality to the kitchen. With a rounded bowl, this large strainer can easily drain pasta or be used to wash and clean an assortment of vegetables or fruit. Crafted from enameled carbon steel, with a glossy finish, the colander rests on a circular footed base allowing the water to easily drain away through the flower cut out design. A chrome trim adorns the mouth of the 9-inch bowl as well as the base. Typhoon recommends washing by hand. --Lea Werbel See less
