Overall, from a construction point of view, the device seemed well made and cleanly constructed. The trouble is, it overheated and hung in minutes. Now the 64gig version I replaced this one with, has been problem free and a pleasure to use. I expect, had the 8gig model not been faulty it would have been equally pleasant to use. However, this device does have one fatal flaw. The stainless steel back is very thin and easily dented. Anyone considering getting this version of the iPod Touch would be well served getting a protective case right away.
