This netbook comes out of the box with quite impressive speed, and if you're at all comfortable playing with things like gmabooster and setfsb and tweaking system services per Black Viper's guide, this thing down right rocks. Setfsb is particularly risky if you don't know what you're doing, and I'm sure it probably voids the warranty so do at your own risk. My experiences with the unit come from the perspective of usage after having applied these tweaks. Multitasking is no problem even with 1 GB ram, I can run Firefox with multiple tabs, pidgin, yahoo messenger, and an office 2007 app with ram to spare and quickly flip between apps.
