There are some lovely luxury hotels in Krabi and also luxury spa resorts. The Nakamanda is one of the most luxurious hotels in Krabi. The centara Grand beach resort is Krabi and the Rayavadee Krabi, which is very expensive but luxury. There is also the Sheraton krabi and the Sofitel Krabi. For a luxury boutique hotel the Tubkaak Resort Krabi is a luxury boutique resort hotel and spa. The Centara Krabi Resort is another of the luxury hotels and resorts to be found in this amazing part of Thailand. Ao Nang is the busiest place for tourists in Krabi and although before Ao Nang was quiet it is now much busier. There are shops and restaurants and some bars, lots of new hotels around Ao Nang but many are built back from the beach area, but for beaches it is best to take a long tail boat from Ao Nang to get to beaches like Railay Beach. There are lots of cheap hotels and inexpensive hotels in the Ao Nang area of Krabi and also some very nice luxury hotels and resorts. See less
