Even when riding through downtown Vancouver at night with all the street lights on, you can see this light flashing on street signs 100 m away. The steady mode is JUST bright enough to guide your way when riding with no light around - but you'll have to go slow. I recommend it for flash only. If you need a light to ride with, you'll have to go with something brighter. The handlebar mount is flimsy but it should last - I've only had to replace one in 2 years. This light is cheap so you get what you pay for.See less
