♥ I'm just a girl, married to the love of her life. My son is my sunshine. I hope to always be an inspiration & an example to him. I live in UT, but am 100% California girl. I miss California! The coastal redwoods, and the smell of the first rain hitting the dirt, the orchards in the spring time, watching the crashing waves along the shore, and the feeling of the sand between my toes… but this new home fits too!
I love the taste of cold rootbeer in an icy mug, and watching the sky turn shades of pink and purple as the sun goes down. I enjoy baking sweets, and making french toast in the morning, watching the stars at night twinkle, the feeling of my satin jammies on my bare skin, and waking up next to the one I love.
♥ I enjoy: learning, camping, reading books, watching movies, and music makes me happy.
♥ Pet Peeves: Anything related to cigarettes, litter AND especially the people who do it, weather over 75-degrees (unless I'm enjoying the sunshine at the beach), graffitti (it's NOT art - it's vandalism!).
♥ My heroes: My DAD, he's had a difficult life and gives a new meaning to "When life gives you lemons make lemonade!" He not only makes lemonade, he makes freakin lemon merengue pie! He taught me to stand up for myself & not let others jerk me around. My MOM, coming from Mexico to the U.S., she is more American than some born here. She is talented, hard working and an awesome cook! She knows she doesn't need to be my best friend, just a good mom - and that's better than any friend.
My sisters, JAMIE, we've both been through a lot of crap, but we're strong -- it's in our blood. I'm sorry for not always being the greatest of examples, and for not always being there for you. We're two different people, but we're sisters forever, no matter what life throws our way, that will never change. TANYA, I don't know where you get your strength and courage from, but there is no denying that you're a strong and beautiful woman! You are such an adventurous and independent person, and you have such a big heart! Thank you for being unselfish and for all you do for your family, friends, and this country. You're amazing!
To my loving husband and friend, ADAM, Thank you for going to work all week, and then coming home and working more. For being a wonderful and understanding husband and a loving father and friend. You've seen me at my worst and at my best and you continue to love me unconditionally. Thank you for all the shared laughs and tears. And to my son THOMAS, you are my sunshine (literally)! You make this world brighter everyday. You're the reason I never give up and believe there's still good in this world.
