In today’s world, there isn’t too much you cant do away from your desk. Wireless internet, cell phones, PDAs, ultra-thin laptops, digital cameras…a gal can set up shop pretty good just about anywhere. And sometimes, that includes the bed. We fell in love with this Lap Desk at first because of the very “now” black and white damask design. Then we really loved the price. And THEN – well, it’s obvious how we loved the functionality. Soft and padded like a bean bag underneath, and high-gloss and smooth on top, this lap desk is a comfortable and stylish way to lounge and work from a place much more comfortable than a desk chair. This damask lap desk is slim, so you can slide it underneath said bed, or beside you bedside table for easy storage. The hard surface is easy to wipe off, and a better option for writing in bed, as you’re less likely to get pen marks on your nice sheets. Not that we think you should be working all the time.
