I'd like to say I've grown wiser and matured in those past months, but you wouldn't be reading this if I had. I struggled for months wondering how I could possibly top Bacon Cereal. It can't be done, I thought. Not possible. Then it finally hit me: A bacon burger. No, not a hamburger with bacon on it, but a burger whose base is ground bacon instead of ground beef. It's often been said that there's a fine line between genius and insanity. I think I've blurred that line this time around. Ingredients: The first thing you'll notice is two different types of bacon. You've got your thick sliced on the left and the traditional sliced on the right. Keep checking back for new recipes. This 1st one is really easy and very yummy. Great to have with a couple of drinks before the BBQ. CHEESE AND BACON PUFFS. 1/2cup(125ml) milk 1 egg 2 cups(250gm) grated cheese 3 bacon rashers, chopped 2 med onions, finely chopped 1cup(150gm) self-raising flour 1tsp French mustard Combine milk and egg in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Place rounded teaspoons of mixture on baking paper lined oven trays. Bake in hot oven about 20 mins. Makes about 40. Suitable to freeze. See less
