While the personal lives of the three main characters are rich and engrossing stories all by themselves (Eve, a former Olympian; Rabbit, a street artist who navigates the city as though it were his personal playground ' in one scene he daringly and invisibly leaves the site of one of his artistic installations via an elevator shaft; and Thom Pegg, a disgraced former investigative journalist), this author expertly weaves these three strands together against the backdrop of a city which is caught up by a calamitous hostage taking. I'm not a reader of 'thrillers,' however this book provides the superb pleasure of fascinating characters, rich story lines, exquisite writing and a tension which cannot help but grip the reader right until the books concluding paragraphs. The straps on this dress are not kept in place; this is part of the design. Two straps come from the left and are worn at the shoulder point. The thinner strap is to be put over the shoulder towards the back and then wrapped under the arm towards the front to form the armhole. The more twisted strap also wraps over the shoulder, from front to back, then falls down the back and to the waist on the opposite side. And to control outboard units, there are Control Voltage outputs for pitch and volume. A convenient foot switch input allows muting the internal tone source without disabling the CVs. But Theremax's most unique features are it's Velocity Control Voltage (proportional to the rate-of-change of volume) and Gate/Trigger outputs.
