They are very soft inside and out and draw A LOT of attention. You will have to wear socks or tights with them and they run a big large in the ankle area, which is due I think to the unusual style. They fit perfectly in the 'normal shoe area', but I have to be careful when I walk that I don't actually walk out of the shoe.
