(03/24/09) I got this perfume as a mother's day gift this year. I like the bottle a lot, very sleek. I didn't ask for this particular perfume, but I told my fianc to go to the counter of the perfumes I already have and like and ask the sales girl to make a suggestion from there as to which perfume he should buy me. I thought that was a surefire way to get a perfume that I'd love! It wasn't... He must have told her I have and love Escada Island Kiss and that's why she suggested this to him. When I first sprayed it into the air, I thought I liked it a lot. Then I wore it to work one day and all day my throat felt irritated and I felt like I smelled like `old lady!' Ugh, not the desired effect I was going for! The scent dry, yet I think there is musk to it. I can't put my finger on what the background scents are, but I thought that maybe it was some kind of flower mixed with cherry. Regardless, I don't like it.
