Unique 1950's silk organza strapless silver metallic snowflake party dress. Label is "Tiana Pittelle, Fashion Origination, Waikiki, Honnolulu." Pittelle normally designed sarong cocktail dresses and other Hawaiian-style dresses, this snowflake party dress was possibly a custom design. The bodice has a structured bustline with tucked and ruched fabric. Fitted bust and waist. The skirt is full and gored. [Photographed with an additional crinoline] Condition: Good/Very good. Dress has a brownish stain down the right side, not blatant due to the sheer fabric (see close-ups). The right underarm also has some slight discoloration and fraying to the silk organza (see close-ups). The snowflakes show some wearing off of the silkscreen and slight brownish discoloration in spots. The fabric overall is very slightly discolored - not bright and crisp as was originally. See less

This stunning "New Look" 50s vintage inspired party dress, in ivory lace over taffeta, is a lovely choice for a wedding or prom. The flattering sweetheart bodice is edged in ivory satin piping. There is boning front and back for extra support. Ruched ivory satin cummberbund style waistband knots in center, with two long sashes that tie in back. Makes the waist somewhat adjustable, as ties can cinch it in. Very full, tea length, swing skirt has an additional taffeta layer with attached tulle ruffle. We've added an additional petticoat for display purposes. Sold separately. Invisible back zipper closure. The fabric is stunning with tons of white tulle with metallic gold thread sewn through. The straps and the waist band are a shiny metallic gold fabric. It has a white metal zipper on one side and a very full tea length skirt... Lined in creamy white taffeta. Bodice is boned. One glamorous dress! Condition Details: No holes or stains.
