So, I was on twitter yesterday, twittering my little heart out, when I see a twitter person named Jackie Guerra. So I say to myself, "Self" I say, "I know that name from a long time ago." And I was right - many years ago I used to watch a DIY channel show about making jewelry, and the hostess was a young woman named Jackie Guerra. I always loved the way she rolled her 'r's when she said her name: "Guerrrrrra." She was proud to be Latina. Also, she was quite a bit overweight, which of course is so unusual in a tv hostess. But I thought she was a cool chick - I knew she had something going on to be so overweight, but she wasn't letting it stop her. Someone to admire, you know? So, naturally I click on her website to see what she's been up to these past few years, and voila! She's lost 170 POUNDS! And she looks gorgeous! And she's happy!
