Aisle Seats Decor --...

Picture of Columbia Winery's patio, where I'll be having my ceremony. Just ribbon used for the aisle seats, rather than flowers.

I like the ribbon idea and it doesn't look bad at all.

I'm not sure if I'm using flowers for aisle seats, or just ribbon. Flowers are prettier, but not sure if i want to spend the extra money.

beautiful!

Ceremony Altar Pillars

Picture #1: Two Pillars with one large connected pillar piece in back. Picture #2: I photoshoped the large pillar in the back to see what it'd look like without it.

$90/pillar; $?/large pillar in back. Nice decor idea. Not sure if I'd have the connected pillar in the back...depends on the price.

White Bouquet

White Bouquet. My bouquet will look almost like this, but probably adding some blue hydrangeas and white calla lilies, etc...

full, leafy-without-leaves look, has some volume rather than a dense ball of flowers. White bouquet might look funny because I photoshoped the image to see what it would look like without the pinks and oranges.

Bridesmaids bouquet. More blue and white. Using Hydrangeas.

don't look at the top two with the roses. I was thinking more like the all Hydrangea bouquet on the bottom of the image. The roses ones have way too much volume. kinda ugly.

I agree, I like the bottom right ... just the hydrangea's. Maybe throw in another flower type like what Sara had ... white peonies?

I think i'm going with this design (the swirl design). I haven't figured out if I want flowers cascading down my cake or just on a few places. Going to be about 4 round tiers.

About the same swirl design as the other one. My cake lady had done this one for a previous wedding.

Cascading Orchids on cake

Probably not actually using orchids because of price, but I like the design of the flowers on the cake. I love cascading flowers.

Flower cake design #2

Flower design in 3 areas: Top, left, right (all on different tiers)

Comments (2)

If not cascading, I'd place flowers in 3 different areas like in this picture.

I like the placement of the flowers on this cake. Cascading flowers have 2 cons, 1: Can be expensive, since a 4-tiered cake is huge!! 2: It can be a little over powering.

Flower Design, only placed on top of cake

This would be my last choice. Having flowers just on top of the cake seems too simple, but not canceled out as one of my choices.

Mini calla lily and small orchid

Very cute. I like the idea of combining a small calla lily with an orchid. I'm still worried about the orchid falling apart as a boutonniere.

Mini Calla Lily and Stephanotis Boutonniere

Simple. I'm leaning towards using mini calla lilies for the boutonnieres. All I know is no roses for boutonnieres.

A single hydrangea, its stem covered with a rolled aspidistra leaf, makes a simple and graphic boutonniere. Hydrangeas come in purples, pinks, and whites. This arrangement includes hydrangea and aspidistra leaf. TIP: Any pliable leaf can be rolled to... See more more

I love Bear Grass, and the idea of using Cymbidium Orchids...not sure the petals will hold up.

White Dendrobium Orchid Boutonniere

I love the simple look of the Dendrobium Orchid. I love that they're affordable flowers. I'm afraid they're too delicate to use as boutonnieres, though.

I love this idea. Simple floating candles in cylinder vases with submerged flowers and votive candles surrounding them. This is my top choice for centerpieces.

it's nikki...i love how this looks!!! i love orchids too. but its simple and nice and the flowers won't burn up....

floating gerbera daisies in bowl.

Cute idea of *just* floating flowers in a glass bowl rather than both candles. I'm afraid floating candles will burn the flowers... Would still have votive candles around the bowl.

Another version of floating daisies in glass bowl. Really cute and simple idea. There would still be votive candles surrounding the bowl.

3 cylinder vases with floating candles, and at least 3-4 small votive candles.

I like the arrangement with the 3 cylinder vases and the votive candles, minus the mirror base. If I end up going with the cylinder vases and floating candles, the arrangement would look similar to this.

I'll still be having small votive candles, but need something more/bigger to add as centerpiece...is this too small?
