A perfect match for the Hoffman "Havana" colorway. Finished Size: 93" x 111", Queen Size. Kit includes fabric for the top, borders, and binding. You will need a book to make this quilt, and this is available for an additional $15.00. Backing fabric is not included. Consider adding 8.5 yards of Hoffman Triple-Dyed Batik yardage to your order. They're great for travel in any season. You just can't wrinkle them. And you can't iron them either, so it's a perfect match. The Rag Fur Jacket is flattering, it's "furry," and it FITS! The pattern comes XXS to XXXL. There are just four easy-to-cut-out pieces: back, front, neckband, and cuffs. That's it! Adjust for sleeve length and start sewing. These are best made with those beautiful tightly-woven batiks and hand-painted fabrics from Hoffman California Fabrics. I highly recommend the scissors below for this project. They're the best I've found. "Regular" scissors will break your fingers right off! We are honored to be the only quilt shop supplying these kits for the magazine. Designed by Mabeth Oxenreider, the quilt features a stunning variety of Hoffman 1895 hand-dyed batiks. The fabrics are paired by color, and separated by value (each kit includes 32 dark batiks, and 32 light batiks in the same color). The design involves simple strip piecing, then dramatic prisms are assembled from the strip sets. Kits include 64 fat quarters (neatly sorted into pairs)& fabric for the binding.
