Here's a hand-made, original-design rockabilly skirt, perfect for rock and roll dancing! A lot of work went into making and applying the hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs appliques. I bought a new/old embroidery machine, and have been learning to use it. I did the appliques on black satin with backing, satin-stitched all around, then hand and machine applied them all around the hem of the skirt. They are not perfect, because I'm just learning to use this machine, but the effect is really spectacular! It features: - Full circle skirt, almost 6m hem sweep! - Cherry red cotton-linen blend fabric - loves a hot iron and beautifully hand-washable - Dozens of black satin appliques around the hem, of poker card suits - Wide, bias-cut waist-band with elastic for snug fit, and invisible zipper - Attractive over-knee length - no knobbly knees showing, but shows the curve of your calf! - All seams professionally serged - Expands to fit from S to M or ML sizes (US6-8-10-12), although will NOT be...
