On appearance, it is a clear departure from the general practice of the industry, where emphases are placed on logotype and branding. Instead, the new adidas Tennis Hi Lux Open is a testament to ingenuity and design. What seems to be random placement are individual stripes of premium leather, arranged into an array, forming the upper of the sneaker. The stripes also provide ample amount of ventilation plus the trimming of its overall weight. Another is the unorthodox logotype. Designers at Adidas managed to reference the brand with 3 stripes without it being explicit. One would notice the 3 leather stripes with jagged edges, alternating among the leather stripes upper. A trace back to the original 3 stripes design of adidas. Another and even more abstract conception is the high top ankle collar, where the 3 segments are in a gradient color palette of beige. The idea is based off of Army Soldiers fighting a battle in a storm, and this is where the AC/DC (AC Blizzard & DC Tempest). A total of 12 pairs, with 6 of each model. Nike Dunk SB&Nike Dunks have their own unique style, and while some of their shoes look like a pack of crayons left on a stove burner, some of them look pretty cool. And all of them are well made. Whatever you take on Nike being in the skate market, it is nice that they actually took the time to make skateboarding shoes that work well. Like everything with skateboarding, you should do what you want, and express yourself. If you like the look and feel of Nike Dunk SB’s, then go for them. People like the strong response and board feel that Nike Dunk SB’s give, and some of the colors are sick.
