The circle has been hammered making indentations that catch the light - however, if you prefer, you can wear it so that the planished (smooth) side shows. The chain is a 16" inch sterling silver, but I will add a 2 inch extension at no extra charge if you purchase the two necklaces to wear together. The hammered ring is approximately the size of a quarter and the small one seen in the pictures is the coordinating one (posted elsewhare on Etsy) which is about the size of a dime. * In case this was confusing - this is for one necklace - the large quarter sized one.
