3 Hearts

This is mine and Kyle's video game collection! I'm mostly a fan of RPGs and puzzle games, but I also like a little bit of every genre. The DS is the only system I really even play anymore. To be honest, I haven't even touched most of our PS2 games, but I'll get to it someday. Same with the 360, but we just bought that.

Haha well I didn't really know much about this game, just that 3/4 of people on forums and in reviews say that this game is one of the best DS games out there XD So I bought this yesterday! My husband played for a bit, and it's pretty cool. The story looks interesting and I like the way the graphics look.

One of my favorite games ever!I just love it when Square actually gets off its lazy butt and actually make someone NEW rather than just a bunch of ports and remakes xP

Haha tell me about it.. Though I AM guilty of loving the remakes! Only to a point though.. Like no more remakes of FFIV anymore please! One is enough! And ports are okay if it's like, from the SNES to the PSX to the GBA (like the FF games). That way it's portable. (I barely have time to play console games anymore). But seriously, $40 for just a port of Chrono Cross to the DS? It's weird being on the DS cuz we know the DS can handle so much more. And $40 is waaay overpriced. But then again.. I'd prolly spend $40 on a port of Super Mario RPG.. Lol

This game is so much fun but it's hard!!

i used to play this with my brothers on the computer a long time ago. i was a little disappointed in this version though, thought it would be a lil easier!

I've never played the PC versions but I have played Warcraft III, which is similar. I loved it! I do love this game (even though it's turn-based rather than real-time), but yes, it can be a pain. I wanted to make sure I completed all objectives, even the ones that weren't required to beat the mission, but some missions had an objective with a time limit. So it sucked whenever I didn't beat the mission in time and had to restart, especially since the missions sometimes last forever!! Lol

Yay I finally beat this like two weeks ago! Now I gotta get the next one =D

OMG, you beat this? Haha, I haven't even tried replaying this yet! xD

I did but then I found out I still had so much left to do after the credits! And it suddenly got hard! I don't wanna pick up the next one till I complete this so.. I don't think I'll be getting the next one for a while. Haha

Haha, well, I like the second more than the first one because there are more map-making tools for you to use. They come in handy :)

I finally beat this game.. I love it! You create a char, take missions on a map, and go into a battle that's in a form similar to Bejeweled. There's a lot of customization and plenty of things to do. If you love RPGs and puzzles, definitely get this.

I'm in the process of playing this, but I just hit a point where I'm kind of bored. The storyline and characters don't stand out as much as they did in FFIV.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is a deep and involving RPG that offers dozens of hours' worth of entertaining tactical battles.

I've tried playing FFTactics on the PSX and Tactics Ogre on the GBA, but their confusing storylines left me always clueless on what was going on. This game is geared towards a younger audience, as it revolves around kids. But I love it, because it has more of a light-hearted adventure that you can easily get into.

Blah.. I thought FFI and FFII were a pain to get through. The characters were just too basic for me, especially since I played these AFTER FF7 and beyond. And the dungeons were just so big and open, and I'm the type who likes to explore everything, right? So it sucked trying to explore every inch when I went into battle every few steps, lol. FFIV and beyond were much easier cuz instead of big open spaces, they have narrow paths that branch out.

i was totally bummed that I wasted my money on this game. it was boring and actually pretty hard! you are right, the dungeons are huge and you get in a battle every 3 steps. then if you want to go back to a town, its another hour before you can even do that since you walk sooooo painfully slow!

One of my favorite games ever. The first disc absolutely captured my attention the entire time. The storyline did slow down a bit later on, but the innovative skill system, the beautiful FMVs, and the darling characters makes this game collection-worthy.

HURRAY! You are now my awesome gamer buddy, haha xD It's so hard to find someone that isn't entirely enraptured with FF7 xPThis is my favorite as well <3I love Zidane's tail! Have you heard of Dissidia for the PSP? You can play all the FF charcters and Zidane and Kuja will be there!p.s. I loved Kuja because I admired his ability to look badass in a thong, haha! xD
