Pratchett (of Discworld fame) and Gaiman (of Sandman fame) may seem an unlikely combination, but the topic (Armageddon) of this fast-paced novel is old hat to both. Pratchett's wackiness collaborates with Gaiman's morbid humor; the result is a... See more more

i read the first one..currently working on this series. had to see what all the hype was about you know? haha. anyway...they're pretty good. not TOP of my list or the best books i ever read, but definitely entertaining. :)

i'm in the middle of the third book now, and i've got to say, i never saw myself becoming so attached to these characters. i'm not sure what it is..but the story is just so full of passion and it is OBVIOUS to me that the author loves each and every character. that is something that's important, i think...that the author love the characters and show no preference for one over the other. anyway. point is, i don't know what it is...but i can't put these down. each books has haunted my dreams until i finish it...i find myself sooo anxious over what's going to happen. ahh. love them.

ugh i still need to buy the 2nd book! but i can't 'til friday :( oh the agony... lol.
