I collected this lily seed pod from my garden last week. I was cleaning up for the onset of winter and came upon a few beautiful seed pods. The vintage copper plated curved bar chain necklace comes with the pendant. It is a perfect compliment to the piece. One of a kind pendant. It is a real piece of nature encased in a hard copper shell. This tiny sculpture measures about 32mm h X 15mm w X 15mm d. Hand finished with patina and a laquer coating, so there won't be any oxidation or skin turning green. It would make a wonderful gift for a nature lover or gardener. This is a new line of pendants that I will be selling here on etsy. I invested in some equipment for my studio that can coat a layer of copper metal onto any organic object (called electroforming). You may have seen leaves that have been "dipped" into copper or gold making htem into leaf pendants.
