All of my coasters are made using salvaged ceramic tiles and many coats of sealant to protect the fabric. From all my testing they can withstand A LOT of water but I do not recommend putting them in the dishwasher (the felt probably wouldn't do too well). Custom orders welcome! (08/26/09) This 18" round mosaic is full of the wonderful colors of the southwest. Beautiful blues, teal, copper and deep purple all embedded in a sandy golden grout. The cut dishes surrounding the mirror are from a Limoges plate. The design is a swirly gold filigree on an off white background. I added off white ceramic mini tiles to carry the color scheme throughout the design. Sky blue transparent gems were used to create an arrow effect, further detailing the southwestern feel of this piece. One friend commented that it reminded them of a Native American sundial. The back has been painted a sienna brown and I have attached a 60lb hook for easy hanging.See less
