Call me slow on the uptake but I hadn't actually checked out the collection that included the boots we've all been dying over for the past couple months. Aside from discovering that they come in MINT and ORANGE SHERBET (just the knowledge that they're out there somewhere makes me happy), I've decided that I'm in desperate need of ink splattery tie dyed minidresses, however unsold I remain on the monochromatic pastel look. Oh yeah, and they come in a transparent/black combination too. Topshop, how were these not mass produced? Mmm shiny stiff ruffles. The latest more affordable wares - I would have bought the cardigan but I swear to God Topshop has already sucked away wayyy too much of my money this month. I'm awaiting not one but two orders..bad bad. Included are Kate Moss wet-look skinnies, the studded Gucci k/o boots, and a D.I.P. dress. While yammering about Facehunted Topshop collabo fans, here's the loveliest lovely looking all vixenish in Christopher Kane's line. I want to try this, it seems like a fun way to play with jeans. So I have pyramid studs in my closet adorning everything from rings to Maryjanes, but this is just extremely noteworthy. I'm not sure who Vanessa's jacket is by (probably Givenchy too), but it's very stop-and-stare, no? It reminded me of this other Givenchy jacket (accompanying pic) from one of French Vogue's En Vogue features last year. They are quite on it, that team of Carine's... Ultraviolet = the new black? Semisheer top, Urban Outfitters (I know, I'm just that hip), Old Navy leggings, thrifted jacket from about a grillion years ago, Target white wrap scarf, MJ Stam. Oh and Bebe electric blue patent studded Maryjanes...yes I detest rhinestone encrusted athletic wear as much as you do but they have some amazing shoes now and then. To prove my potentially dubious point, I have extracted the following from the Bebe website: Okay so maaaaybe they're complete down-do-every-last-buckle Balenciaga knockoffs but purchasing these is about 70 times more realistic to my personal existence. Love the triple strap here. Need and will make pathetic attempts to wheedle bf into purchasing. Classic, chic, a tad French? I wouldn't turn these down. See less
