(09/01/09) The Audrey Dress is a new style for us. This original design marries the detailing of a late 50's dress with the simplicity of a modern style. This dress features a classic rounded boat neck with wide set straps and v shape lower back. The skirt is a slim pencil with a back walking vent. The wide covered buckle belt is completely removable (no belt loops) as the dress looks perfect with or without it. This perfect simple black dress can be worn a zillion ways. Add a Bonnie Bolero, Add a Courtney jacket or coat for chic black sophistication. Add a vintage rhinestone broach at the shoulder and a wide red patent belt for a night on the town. (09/01/09) The Ashley Short Sleeve Dress is sure to be a favorite if you are a fan of classic late 1930's and early 1940's fashions. The bodice and sleeves were modeled after a 1937 vintage pattern. The underbust (front and back) is lined and topstitched. The bodice has ruching at the top of the shoulders and is lightly gathered at the underbust line. The sleeves are cap style with a gathered top and gathered edge and tiny piping. The skirt is a shorter version (knee length) of that of our Amanda Dress (combining bias and a-line pieces for a flattering fit)See less
