Black leather, laced ankle high boots with a 1 inch heel in a rare larger and wider size! These would have been worn everyday and they have the wear to prove they were much loved, and yet they are in good condition still. Pretty sure these range from a 8 to a 9 woman's size- the numbers on the inside read 6 1/2 (vintage size) but that's my size and they are certainly bigger than that. Here are the actual measurements: Just about 10" on the inside length, with a soft measuring tape. Sole measures 3" wide at the widest part. 1 and 1/4" high wood heel. Leather sole looks like it was redone and worked on. The laces on the right shoe have broke in a couple places, so you would need to replace the laces. Nice cut-outs and detail near the laces, typical of the beautiful detail in the 20's. These could date anywhere from the 1900's through the 1930's, we would guess from the late teens/ early twenties most likely. They came from a woman's estate in the mideast. See less
