January 09, 2007: My 8 year old daughter picked this book out based on the cover (it was wrapped in plastic) and was really disappointed in it. She wanted me to write a review telling people how bad it was. Her complaints were that it's a gimmick that takes away your money, it doesn't have anything educational or fun or silly, and the cover looks fun but when she got it she was very disappointed. For the record, she LOVES books and I think this is the first book she hasn't liked. I was going to write that it was better suited for a small child who doesn't care about the text but she says 'No, it's not suited for anyone, it's a gimmick!'. There you have it! :) See less
