My mother, Elisa, was born and bred in Louisiana. She moved to New York City to find a job and a husband. She was successful at both. Mama was an accessories buyer at Arnold Constable on 5th Avenue in Manhattan in the 40's and 50's. I inherited her fabulous silk scarves, handkerchiefs, pitchers, collectibles and, most of all, her costume jewelry. I love to accessorize my outfits with pieces from her collection. But, there is more than I can possibly use.
