This results in a complete failure rate without any advanced warning. The door is also weak in that unless it is hung 100% properly and balanced, it begins to cut through the metal brackets supporting it, which in time will result in the door not closing and sealing properly. "This dinnerware is absolutely beautiful and makes the food look so chic like it was being served in a trendy restaurant. I have been using it for about two weeks now and love it. It is heavy duty and well made. Here is the only reason I didn't give this dinnerware five stars. I'm not sure if this is my fault or a weakness of the product. Over the weekend I had a couple of people over for dinner and used the dinnerware. This was the first time a steak knife had been used on it for a chicken breast dish. After the guest had left I noticed one of the plates had a small brownish mark on it about the size of a hair. I scrubbed it and it would not come off. I then pulled out my "Barkeepers Friend" (which is supposed to be non abrasive and won't scratch further) and gave it a good scrub with that. The brownish color came off but when the light hits the plate just right the scratch can be seen. I don't know if the steak knife scratched the glaze on the plate and left a permanent mark or not...
