We found two kittens in the yard last year- we had watched the mama- a feral cat- move them around from hiding place to hiding place and then she stuck them behind the iron grates of our window well- we snatched them before they could become feral- or get killed by one of the adult male cats in the neighborhood- they have since become part of the family.
