I'm not big on making these ridiculous resolutions I'll never keep, but I do like the first of the year since it's a fresh start and you can try to change things you've been meaning to work on. So my goal as I enter the new year is to eat a little better and add exercise often into my days. Easy enough right? I thought I would be ahead of the game and try to jump-start the "watching what I eat" thing on the 31st. Bad idea. In a 24 hour period, I started and ended South Beach. LOL Yep- the shortest diet in history! And is it just me or is the word "diet" really ugly sounding? I think hearing the word sets me up for failure. Tell me I can't eat something and I'm going to want it. I just could not cut the carbs cold turkey like they wanted me to do.
