Of all the different ways to prepare tea (paper tea filters, tea balls, in-cup infusers, etc.), using this tea maker is the best. Without sounding like an over-the-top infomercial, it's like magic. You put your tea in it, add hot water, and let it steep. Then you place it on top of any size mug (up to 3.5'' in diameter), and perfect tea is released without even pressing a button or pushing anything. Unlike with other infusers, the tea doesn't seem to stick to the filter as much, so cleaning it is exceptionally easy. Just rinse it out, and you're ready for your next batch. The paper is archival and the polycrylic doesn’t yellow so this piece will look good for a long time to come. While the beads are sealed, they shouldn’t be submerged so don’t wear them in the water (showers, pools or baptismal fonts) and try not to toss them in the laundry. Most beads measure 3/8" both ways (except for the long beads) and, depending on the size/font used, are printed multiple times so they can be read as they twist around.
