That about sums me up, now a little about my last year on this incredible planet. I have a 13 year old beautiful, intelligent, trying to play mom like she's all stupid and can't do anything for herself (cause she's lazy!) daughter. I've never been married. Her father and I parted ways the night she was conceived. He wanted to remain an alcoholic and crack user - I didn't want that type of role model for my self let a lone my child. So for the past 10 years, I have been a single parent and proud of it! I thought I was in love with my childs father at the time we were going out, but once I left him, I realized it was only lust. It wouldn't be until 11 years after my daughter was born that I fianlly get mine! - My first real boyfriend and love at the age of 40. Better late than never, right?!
My mother died March 16 of this year. Very sudden, no warrning. Now I am the one everyone turns to to solve all of their problems. I have to be Mom and I want to run, run, run, run! I'm not ready! But I do what I have to do and accept what I have to accept to live out my life the way God intended. So even though I don't want the responsibility (who does?) I take it on to provide for me and mine.
After my mom died, I had to leave my childhood/adulthood home (born and raised in) and my boyfriend, my daughter and I moved to Everett. We used to live in Seattle (Wallingford). The house was built in 1906 as a legal duplex. One bed/bath apartment upstairs and a 3 bed/1 bath downstairs,+ a full un-finished basement.
Needs a new boiler; the original boiler is still opperational, but to be honest, it's on it's last legs and needs to be replaced. The main unit has natural gas for heat and cooking. The living room and dining room floors in the downstairs unit are 2" oak hardwood floors with 2 rows of mahogany inlay on the outer edge. We are in the process of re-finishing them. Huge fireplace with built-in bookcases on either side. Two built-in china cabinets seperate the living and dining rooms. All of the millwork in the living room/dining room in both units is red mahogany. The 1 bed/1 bath upstairs has a seperate entrance, electric meter (electric heat, all electric upstairs) and address: 4605 1st Ave NE.
