It is constructed with a serger for maximum strength and durability, while the face is appliqued carefully with a freehand satin stitch with embroidery thread. The facial features are made from flannel for extra softness that is sorely lacking from other manufactured products with felt features. It is completely machine washable, though air drying will make the fabric last much longer.
