in Beauty
I am doing a review on these two mascaras, L'Oreal Beauty Tubes in Blackest Black and L'Oreal Voluminous in Blackest Black.
I will start with the Beauty Tubes. I really like it. It's a two step mascara with a base coat and a color coat. To take it off, you just splash (well I just splash) some warm water on them and let it soak for a few seconds. Then just pull them off. It's kinda cool in that gross wow I wear a lot of make up ways. Haha... I find that it does indeed make your eyelashes longer (mine touched the underside of my eyebrows), but I feel that with the white base coat it doesn't seem as dark as I usually like and I feel I have to put on a lot of coats to get the whole eyelash coated. Over all, I'm pleased with it just for the length. And because I'm weird, I like pulling off the tubes.
Next is my stand by favorite Voluminous. I find that I don't have to put on as many coats and it is really dark. It also stands true to it's name by making my eyelashes look very thick and full of volume. However, it is a bit too wet for me and until it dries it feels a bit heavy especially when it starts to get old. It doesn't come off in a cool way like the Beauty Tubes, but I have found it comes off pretty cleanly.
All in all, I really like both of these a lot. I think they each are a good mascara with a bunch of pros and only a couple cons. Give them a try! I didn't think I'd like them as much as I do.
I hope you all have a great and fashionable week!

Last night I went and saw Regina Spektor in concert. She is simply amazing. My BFF Sara went with me (Erin was going to go, then hurt her back. :( I was sad) and she was stunned by Regina's adorable personality. Sara told me over and over again how cute she was and how she loved that she wasn't crazy done up like other singers. Regina had simple make up and hair and a cute dainty flowered dress on. When you go see a Regina Spektor concert, you are really there to bask in her talent. She sounds the same on her albums as she does in concert (which is always a good sign. I hate when they don't even sound similar). I absolutely love her. If you are looking for a good concert that is well worth your money, go see her! She will surely rock your socks off!

So, this is kinda late but oh well. For Halloween I was a zombie pin up girl. Yeah, I like the gory costumes. I didn't do anything to great, but I still looked awesome at work. I won the Scariest Costume award. I was proud of that. Erin (aka gregsgal) did my hair and most of the make up. I was really impressed with myself. I did the major pin up-y cat eye eyeliner thing and it came out correct without me having to fix it! Yay me! BTW if next year you feel the need to be gross like I was, get this make up "goo" called Fresh Scab. That is what makes it all look real.
Anyways... What I wore:
Dress: Leopard print knee length halter from Hot topic (bought like 4 years ago)
Gladiator heels (not pictured): Vanity
Spanx: A girl's BFF
Hope ya'll had a great Halloween! : )

So, the time has come that I get a new phone and new phone company. For the past 2 1/2 years-ish I've had my LG Chocolate (similar to this one) and Verizon Wireless with not much satisfaction. I want to try something new this time around but have a very limited budget. I'm thinking of going with AT&T (I've had them in the past and liked them and people in my family have it and like it) or T Mobile (I know a lot of people who have this and really like it for some things but not for others).
This is where you come in, Kaboodlers! I need your help in finding a good wireless company and any tips on phones would be helpful as well. I don't need anything fancy (I only call people, take pics, and text), so none of the 3G or whatever it's called is necessary. I don't want to get a wicked cheap carp-tacular phone but I don't want to spend too much over about $60 (after rebates) for the phone.
Thanks for your help!

Hello, all! I wanted to tell you about this. I went and saw Paranormal Activity last night. Holy cow! Insanely scary good! For anyone who knows me, I do not handle scary movies very well at all. I usually hide in someone's arm or peek through my fingers. I couldn't peel my eyes away from the screen. You will scream and if you're a baby like me, you might even cry. Right now they are only showing this movie in select cities (strangely Sandy, UT was selected), and if you go on to www.paranormalactivity-movie.com you can request it for your area. Once they get a million hits they will release it nationwide.
I just wanted to tell you about this movie. I hadn't heard about it until last night. It is indeed a great scary movie.
