Hello everyone.  I don't know if you do much traveling these days but do to 911 things are a bit stricter now and it's a forever process at the airport now days.  A friend of mine, (Veronica Tan) has a travel blog, and I read something pretty interesting that I thought I would share with all of you this morning.  This is pretty amazing...

If you are a frequent traveler, you would have spent hours at airport security regulations due to having to clear airport inspection and passenger security at various airport homeland security screening. Why not apply for the Clear Card and fly through airport security?

The Clear Card costs $199 in the first year with discounts when you enroll for multiple years. Currently, you can get the Clear Card for only $89 for a 6-month membership for a limited period of time. With the Clear Card, all you need to do when you arrive at the airport is to look for the blue Clear cube that designates the Clear express lane at airport security.

You will then have your identity verified using your Clear Card and your iris or fingerprint checked.

Upon verification, go directly to security. The Clear concierge will assist you in streamlining this process. You will be able to avoid the wait in the long security lines and enjoy a consistent, predictable experience every time you fly.

All you need to complete enrolment are two forms of government-issued photo identification that together provide proof-of-identity and citizenship/permanent residency. A US Passport is strongly recommended.

You can enroll in any Clear airport or in downtown locations in select cities. Once you complete in-person enrollment, you will receive your Clear Card in two weeks. If you like, you can gift a Clear Card to someone who requires it.

Start your application on your computer and sign up online. There is absolutely no charge until you complete your application and your card is mailed. You will need to stop by one of the enrollment centres to complete your application where your photo will be taken, 2 forms of government-issued ID verified as well as fingerprint and iris images captured.

Once your application is complete, you will be mailed your Clear Card and be able to start using them at the Clear express lanes the next time you go to the airport.

As all Clear Card members are pre-screened, they are provided with the Clear Card, a hi-tech card that gives them access to designated airport homeland security express lanes nationwide.

The greatest benefit is that Clear members pass through airport security faster, with more predictability and less hassle. Clear Card members have control of their own time and schedule.
