Johnsons Baby Shampoo...
I just wanted to share a little beauty tip from my eye doctor.  The best eye makeup remove I have ever used is actually Johnson's Tearless Baby Shampoo.  Granted, my toughest waterproof mascara still doesn't come completely off, but it does about as good as any other makeup remover I have tried, but it is much easier on my eyes.  After all, it's safe for baby's eyes, why not ours?!

At first I was so excited about my idea for Halloween this year, but now I'm not so sure of myself. I have been studying French for over 8 years now (scary how time flies).  Being a French Stereotype seemed like the perfect fit for me.  This is especially true since I don't want to spend a lot of money since I probably won't even go to a party.  For the most part I would be wearing it over to a friends house one night and to "Safe Trick or Treat", which is an event my college hosts for children in the community to play games and get candy in a safe environment.
What I'm not sure about is whether the 4 French students at the university would be insulted by my costume.  It is especially difficult to know given that the French sense of humor is different than the American sense of humor.  If I back out now though, I don't have any other costume ideas that I like this well.
For now the plan is to go with this idea and to make it as over the top as possible.  This way I stand a better chance as it coming off as a jest and not me being ethnocentric.  I have a black and white striped long sleeve shirt that I bought from AE and a black beret that I ordered online somewhere.  To finish the clothes I think I will wear my skinny jeans and some black peep toe wedges.  I haven't completely decided on the other accessories, so if you have any thoughts please share.  My ideas include a red scarf tied around my neck, a baguette, fleur de lis earings, and a poodle stuffed animal (if I can find one).

Well...any thoughts???
