FLIRT! Lash-a-delic FAST...
When I get my favorite seat on the train, I know there’s a good day ahead.  Spill coffee down my shirt on the other hand, and I’m in for a doozy.

I probably sound like someone from Obsessed, the new show on A&E (that I totally recommend, btw), but c’mon!  You know it’s true.

Mascara is another good indicator of the day ahead. Clumpy and chunky? Might as well stay home. Perfectly separated, long and lush?  The day will rock.

Go Lash-a-delic and you’ll be enjoying the latter. The fab mascara from Flirt! ($14 at Kohls) defines and lengthens with a very liquid-y formula. Bonus: It comes in a hot-pink-a-delic tube!

Kumaara Radiant Finish...
Every once in a while, I throw caution to the wind and go for all-out luxury. I pull that move only when shopping at the drugstore (not a good mindset when in Nordy’s) and treat myself to things like cushy socks and primo, fancy floss. Luxurious items in my day-to-day routine puts me in an absolutely fabbo mood.

The everyday luxury of luxuries is Kumaara Radiant Finish Concealer. I use it, and instead of thinking how dark the circles under my eyes are, I feel almost regal dabbing on the silky concealer. The super-soft  brush is divine and the flawless dewy finish, solid coverage and illuminating effect are worth admiring in the luxe-to-the-max compact's mirror.

Sadly, you can’t pick Kumaara Radiant Concealer up at the drugstore.  On the other hand, it feels and looks like a complete dream and is oil, fragrance, and paraben free – a definite upgrade to any morning makeup routine.

My vote: Worth the splurge!

Since I won't be traveling abroad this summer, I thought I'd share this contest from Benefit with all of the jetsetters out there.

I mean c'mon! You just take a photo (you'll be doing that non-stop anyway) of yourself with a Benefit product in some exciting locale for a chance to win $300 at Benefit. Not too shabby!

As a side note, this contest totally reminds me of  Flat Stanley, the flat little paper guy that has traveled everywhere with one of my most fun friends. Do any of you take Flat Stanley on vacation?

Women's shoes: Nina Elga:...
I need your help Kaboodle!

What shoes should I rock for my friend Liz's ultra-girly wedding in two weeks? I will be wearing the bright fuschia version of the dress pictured above.

The dress will be altered to hit at the knee and the shoes are supposed to be black. What do you think?  Strappy, flouncy or sleek? I don't want to look too 90's prom.

Do you love either of the options here or should I go a completely different route?
