HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!

0 ›
Baby Mod - Lily 4-in-1... Angel Baby Bedding... Kee-Ka Bib - Turquoise /...
I am 7 weeks into my pregnancy. Yes, I am having a baby. =)

Of course I am nervous, scared out of my mind and have no idea what to do. I had to resort to calling my mum at 2 am asking her if its normal for my boobies to feel this sore. Or calling my best friend in the middle of super bowl because the Budweiser commercial made me cry like a sissy little girl.

I have been looking online for cribs, changing tables, bassinets and all that other junk mum-to-be's need. I have a few months to go before I pop so I'm looking for places with layaway coz well, I'm cheap, and I still have to clear up the mess I have in my room.

From the looks of it, I would have to live with my mum. I mean, common! Free full-time baby sitter, and she isn't some psycho stranger I got off the yellow pages, she's my mum, she's a different kind of insane. =D

So, my questions are:
1. Know of any place (online or local store) with layaway for all my baby needs (i.e. crib, changing table, blah blah blah)

2. Whats a good neutral color? Since I dunno if I'm having a boy or girl yet. I'm thinking green or yellow. Yeah?

3. Does Skyler Kevin (boy), Ashbie Kayla (girl) have a nice ring to it?

4. Do you have any children? If so... how did you survive the pregnancy? I hate being moody and feeling sick and tired all the time... Though I cannot complain about the food cravings. I have a new found love for cheese. =D

XOXO,
Andrea

Red Unlocked Blackberry...
So, I got my line updated at the local Wal-Mart, since I know the people that work with the phones, and they gave me a kick ass deal, I went ahead even though they don't have the phone I wanted in yet. So, I went ahead and got the Blackberry Curve as my temporary phone. BIG MISTAKE! First 5 minutes of tinkering with it I wanted to throw it up against the wall. Not only was it hard for me to get used to (I like things simple, if I want to send a message to everyone on my contacts a "send to all" option would be nice).

Here's what I had problems with:

1. They keypads are a little to small for me, I don't have chucky fingers it's just... it's too small for me!

2. The internet has it's slow moments. Granted it may be up to the network, it constantly kicked me off because there was an "Error with the server, please contact network provider".

3. It froze. Yes. first 5 mintues of using it the little shit froze. All I did was add one more recipient to the message I was sending it froze for a good 4 seconds (I actually counted).

4. It froze again. This time, I was simply replying to a text message. This time it froze longer. It may have been loading the text, but all they said was "Haha! Ok."

5. I HATE THE SCROLLING BALL!!!! I'd rather use regular buttons. I don't know if I'm not touching it hard or soft enough but it won't always do what I say!

6. The person on the other line has trouble hearing me. Yes. 3 phone calls later I decided it wasn't the 3 different peoples phones fault.

7. Kaboodle takes loooooong to load. The phone doesn't have enough capacity to load so much information in a split second.

This is my experience. I don't know about you, you may have one and love it to death, I on the otherhand... well, I can't wait till Monday to get another temporary raplacement. I won't be getting my iPhone until mid June.
For me, my experience with the Blackberry Curve has been hell. So far the only good thing I got out of it was being able to download a Twitter application. Hehehe. Yes, I tweet. :D

Should I get an iPhone 3G?

iPhone 3G Sales &...
Every single person I know tells me I should. Including both my friends who work with cellphone and will probably be working on my contract. I have a list of requirements that I check before getting a cellphone:

- Internet (I need internet on my cellphone, since I Twitter and I need notifications when I get an e-mail)

- Organizer/Calendar (I like to keep track of my work schedule and school schedule, since my current cellphone is litteraly crap at doing that I want a step up)

- MP3 Player (When I get bored at work, I listen to music. Plain and simple)

- Easy to use keyboard (I have a big thumb, I think. So cellphones with tiny keys are out. That's why I declined to get the Blackberry Curve)

- LOUD and clear Loudspeaker (When I want to put it on loudspeaker, since I hate those bluetooth things, I want it to be loud. I want to be able to hear the person I'm talking to loud and clear)

These are bonus things that I want in a phone:

- GPS (I get lost a lot. Seriously. I wanted to get to Roseville CA, and I ended up in Davis CA just by following my instincts instead of asking for directions)

- Videos (I want to be able to watch the latest episode of House that I missed. Though I've seen it all, I just think getting clear videos on a phone is cool)

- EVERYTHING (I want a lot of features on a phone, from taking pictures to being able to do my laundry... Though that's asking too much)

So, here are the questions:

1. Do you have an iPhone 3G?
2. Do you like it?
3. Is the internet fast?
4. What do you like about it?
5. What do you NOT like about it?
6. Would you recommend it to a friend?
7. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

So... awaiting your feedback. Thank you.
