I LOVE COOKIE JARS! What more can I say? I've been in the cookie jar business since 1989. I opened "Jazz'e Junque" Chicago's 1st cookie jar shop on Lincoln Ave. I'm now at 1648 W Belmont Ave. My web site is www.jazzejunque.com

Seashell .. That's a great jar and one of the classics. There are also different versions of the originals from Shawnee, e.g. long tail vs short tail. There is also a replica Puss N Boots that was made by Jonal pottery and sold about five or six years ago. BUT be sure not to buy one marked McCoy they are fakes, McCoy never made one.

Hi Paperweights..
Yes I have DEFINITELY bought from them, they are on my list of favorite sellers. Love their California Originals collection especially.

I am not a collector but have wonderful memories as a small child of being in my grandmother, "WaWa's" warm kitchen and always looking up at the (what I know now is the) Puss n Boots cookie jar in a built in alcove in her wall. I don't even remember it having cookies in it, but it brings back many warm memories of her. I don't know who got hers, but I will have one on day

My parents are also cookie jar collectors. I grew up in a house full of cookie jars. They have thousands of them. They started selling off their collection a couple years ago. They sell 40 or so a week on Ebay. Perhaps you've purchased some of their jars? They are 12timesgranny on Ebay.
