What's up with the Benny & Joon/Clockwork Orange hats?  I get the whole cult classic theme... but I am not a fan.

I cant keep secrets to myself!

Here's the deal with these products and why I use them.

1.  Almay Smart Shade - I really never gave this a second thought because I figured there was no way it worked but the other day on a whim I bought it and am in LOVE. I still don't know how it works  but it really is like magic, I am so impressed especially it comes out kinda white.  I highly reccommend trying it,, I am sure you'll be in awe too!

2. Pore Refining Toner - A friend intorduced me to toner in college and it's history from there.  I especially like to use it to really clean me up before applying any lotion or pimple cream.  It's the first thing I grab when I have a breakout.  It cuts healing time in half without drying your skin out.  I use neutrogena because they have a face wash with it but any toner is a must-have.

3.  White eye-shadow - Doesn't matter what other color shadow or liner you're wearing, I swipe some on the inner corners of my eye with every color (I read this in a magazine and am so happy I tried it).  It opens your eyes ten-fold and gives you a fresh look (even with dark liners/shadows)

In the winter I default to black, mostly for work.  But summer is a whole new ballgame, like a butterfly from a cocoon I bring out the flowy, hippie, drapey, fringy, color and pattern mixes.  Check out buckle.com for some trendy finds.  I think the look should be here to stay, but thats just me (and me and heat arent friends so the look caters to me well).  With me or against me? A lot of the time supporting your favorite chairty can be more enticing and easier to make a sacrifice when you have something to show for it. I've noticed many charaties that offer products to buy can tend to fall short of offering things you actually want to buy.  I really like to buy things where the proceeds support good causes and out of all the causes that help out our animal friends in particular, I think Peta has hit the mark as far as offering really wearable products.  Even if your're not an advocate, you may be pleasantly surprised by the inventory. Check out the peta catalog for great fashions that will go to helping our big and little friends that need a voice (and to score some really cute stuff for yourself in the process).

Has anybody worn these? I saw them in Elle and thought they might be a godsend.  I'm on my feet all day and even one inch heels kill me after a few hours, but I want something cute to wear (and at 5'3 I need the height).  Anyone reccommend these or have a link for something you think could solve my problem?

I am loving TopShop Unique's REady-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2010 line.  I'll be doing this for the summer. Do you think this is a good look?
