180 movie

This really made me think about abortion.  I was already pro-life, but believed that the only reason it would be ok to have an abortion would be if both the mother and baby's lives were in danger if it didn't happen.  The old, at least one of them will live.  I still believe that is the only reason it would be ok to have one, but I like to think that I wouldn't have one even then and rely on God to either save me or bring me home to Heaven

This isn't to point fingers and say anyone is wrong it's just to put the facts of the Bible out there in a way that made me think.

Even if you're not a Christian, I think you should watch this and consider your own stance on abortion.

Zazzle Christmas cards for soldiers

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Zazzle.  It's a site that has several things such as shirts, cards, magnets, mugs and such that you can add your own design, words and pictures.  They have five Christmas cards that you can send to a soldier for free, BUT it must be shipped to a apo/fpo milatary address!  So, if any of you know of someone serving in the milatary and would like to send them a Christmas card, now is the time to do it.  Offer is valid through December 17, 2011 at 11:59pm PT.

Christmas Present: Homemade Cookbook

8 ›
Office Impressions Round...
Mead Filler Paper,...

I always love to get my friends and family things for Christmas, but am not a natural born gift giver.  I have however thought of, what I think will be a wonderful gift for my sister-in-law.  She's diabetic and after my brief encounter with gestational diabeties, have experienced what a pain that can be food wise.  So I figured I would make her, her own cookbook off of foods that she likes.  I think it's a neat way to show you care.

All you need is a binder, paper, pen/pencil, access to some recipes that you can copy down, and a little time.  I've been spending a little time each day coping down recipes for her and placing them in the binder.  Also, I've had my daughter color a few pictures that I've placed inside as well.

This is one idea I've come up with for a Christmas present.  I'd love to hear some of your wonderful ideas.  Do any of you plan on giving diy gifts this year?

Prayers for Rob

5 ›
Sorry that I am doing this in a blog, but I haven't the heart to type this out more then once!  If you are not a Christian, please forgive me, perhaps you will at least keep him in your thoughts.

A friend of mine has just recently had a stroke and his son says he is living on borrowed time.  He and his family need your prayers.  Especially since he does not know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.  It breaks my heart to think that I will not see him in Heaven and that I should have done more to change this!  He is a very caring, loving and friendly person.  His loss will break the hearts of many, especially his 3 sons, daughter and his sister!  Thank you all for bearing with me and for your thoughts and prayers!
