Fast Dry Nail Color Pen
So I finally decided to buy Sally Hansen's Nail Color Pen.  I've been eying them for a while, but couldn't bring myself to spend $8.50 for something I thought I would end up hating.  I painted my nails yesterday afternoon.  I think I like it.  I wouldn't use it for everyday, but it's good to have when you are in a hurry and need an emergency mani.  The first coat went on smoothly but was very transparent.  There were some spots near the cuticle that I had a hard time reaching.  The second coat went on with a ton of brush strokes, but they disappeared as it dried (which it did very quickly).  There is almost no shine, but not a true matte either.  I think a good topcoat of clear would have been a good idea.  The ends are already looking a little worn, but as I said for a quick fix, not bad.

This is basically what i'm wearing today.  The earrings are dangles, not buttons.  And the belt is the same color as the shoes with a square buckle, and it is matte not patent.

Pants - NY& Co
Shoes - Ross
Earrings - can't remember
Belt - Vanity, I think
Cardigan - TJ Maxx
Shirt - Walmart (can you believe that!?)

Got a new beauty product your not sure about...

You all may already know about this site, but it has saved me a ton of money and frustration.  It's TotalBeauty.com.  You can search for most any beauty product on this site and it will pull up reviews from other users of the site.  As far as I can tell, they aren't owned by any company, or edited to make certain brands look good (if you know what I'm talking about).  You can post reviews of all the products you love (or hate) as well.  You might check it out the next time you can't decide whether or not to splurge on that new facial soap or mascara.  You might find out that it's a dud before you blow your own money on it!  Plus, I think you get entered into drawings for posting reviews and just for signing up.  I won a $100 Estee Lauder gift card from them!

Tried something new on my nails last night

I'm not sure how well you can see this in the picture, but I did a moon manicure for the first time last night.  I used Fingerpaints polish in two shades of purple.  I got the idea out of my latest issue of InStyle (love that mag!).  A bit of advice, if you try it, let the first color dry longer than the 5 minutes the article suggests, or the color peels off when you pull off the mani stickers.

I ordered the stuff to do a different mani with foils.  I can't wait til I get it in.  If it turns out like the mag showed, it will be gorgeous.  You use a gunmetal polish as a base and the add bits of gold and silver foil.  It was really pretty.

So I am FINALLY moved into my new office, as of this afternoon.  I still need to do something with the book shelf, but other than that, I'm pretty well done.  Tell me what you think!
