This morning I got to work, and as usual, I went to yahoo to catch up on the news... I came across a video from a dad, who's child was bullied at school by a TEACHER!  What makes this worse is that this sweet little boy has autism.  I am really disheartened that a teacher, a person you think you can trust to protect your kids with, could treat them as if they weren't human. 

This really struck a chord with me, so I thought I would pass on this video, and hope to raise awareness to this horrible act!  Bullying is NOT ok!!! This "teacher," or shall I say MONSTER, should be fired!!! My heart, and prayers go out to this little boy, and any other person, child or adult, that is being bullied!

Good Afternoon Kaboodle Family!

I can not believe the weather we are having in the mid-west! It's beautiful out here!!!!

Not much to report this week! Sunday I'm doing a race with the salon I work for, for St. Patrick's Day.  However, i'll be walking ;) haha

This past weekend, I got some new blue pumps! I'm completely obsessed! ALSO!!!!!! A big thanks to my boss who gave me one of her Marc Jacobs handbags, for doing some extra work for her! I was so shocked, it's a beautiful baby blue bag!!!!

And a big thanks to one of my best friends Ellissa, who bought me this adorable necklace! She bought it from an antique store, out in LA.  It's made with a old skeleton key and attached at the top is a vintage clip on earring! :)

TGIF kaboodle friends!

I recently had a poll with a few dresses, well I couldn't decide so I bought two of them... lol this dress and the shorter spaghetti strapped one. However, I'll have to wait to wear the other dress until warmer weather comes! :)

I also have been wearing the "baby lips" by Maybelline, and I have to say... I LOVE IT!!!  Not only does it make my lips feel super soft and moisturized, the colors they have to choose from are amazing!  It also comes in a clear color.  They are simply just great!!!! I'm wearing the color pink punch in my pictures!

Happy Monday Kaboodle Loves!

So yesterday I went to Target so see if I could score some of that super cute Jason Wu!  I bought two dresses!  But of coarse it went down with a ton of DRAMA!

So here is the scoop...

I got there a little late, around 945-10am... (I slept in on accident)  But when I got there it was pretty picked over, which initially made me super sad...  So I'm moping around the remains of what was left... So instead of crying about it, i started to look EVERYWHERE for stuff people may have put down.. I found the dress I wanted, and also another cute dress... AND, so i go back to look at the scarfs and this lady walks up to me and see's that I have the pink dress.  SHE YELLED TO HER FRIEND, "SHE'S GOT IT IN MEDIUM!"  Then before I could react, she snatched the dress from my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS SHOCKED!!!  I literally froze and didn't get what just happened... So my boyfriend reacted as she started to walk away with it, and grabbed it back out of her hands and said a few choice words... lol  One of my good friends actually works security at the store and they had to escort this woman and her friend out!!!!! Needless to say I am still shocked!!!

I also did something on my nails, I saw on pintrest so i'll tell you what I used and how :)

So first I groomed my nails by filing them and priming them with a base coat.
After, I applied about 3 coats of Sally Hansen's Smooth and Perfect in color Sorbet.  Let it dry completely.
Next, I applied Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in color Strobe Light to the tips of my nails (it doesn't have to be perfect)
Lastly, apply a nice top coat!
