2012 is coming. How is the fashion trend this year? The oversized jewelry pieces are the favorite this year. And feather earrings are come back.
Do you like feather earrings? Yes, I like. ^_^. They are colorful, lightful, elegant and captivating. These fashion earrings are beautiful works of art. They have colorful feather as the base of earring. The feathers add a touch of character to these dramatic earrings. Feathers in different colors and combined with different jewelry beads could create different effects and styles. They may classic, they can also be exotic. No matter what they look like, choose several pairs and add some taste to your fashion look. The feather earrings are the hottest trend now!^_^ -
I had a short vacation in Hainan Province, China for four days, and just came back. Hainan Province (Hainan Island) is a bright pearl of the South China Sea.
Hainan, has beautiful scenery and comfortable climate, is the most important and famous tropical tourist attraction of China. What is more, its environment quality is at the top of the whole world so as to there are many centenarians.Wuzhizhou Island is one of its famous small island which has very fascinating scenery---blue sky, white cloud, green sea and unsophisticated people. The second picture was taken there. The first and third pictures were taken at Dadonghai which is famous by "Tianya Haijiao" (ends of the earth). Legend says you and your beloved will happy forever if you come to Tianya Haijiao together or call her/him when you are there. The native people said:" You have came to the ends of earth together, anything else can baffle you? Nothing!"
The sun shined strongly, but the sea wind was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my holiday there. It is another Heaven of China, except Suzhou and Hangzhou. Welcome to Hainan! Welcome to China!

Mooncakes are to Mid-Autumn Festival what mince pies are to Christmas. The seasonal round cakes traditionally have a sweet filling of lotus seed paste or red bean paste and often have one or more salted duck eggs in the center to represent the moon. And the moon is what this celebration is all about. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month; it is the time when the moon is said to be at its brightest and fullest. This year the festival falls on Sep, 12.
There are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating mooncakes.
One Tang Dynasty myth holds that the Earth once had 10 suns circling it. One day all 10 suns appeared at once, scorching the planet with their heat. It was thanks to a skillful archer named Hou Yi that the Earth was saved. He shot down all but one of the suns. As his reward, the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hou Yi the Elixir of Immortality, but she warned him that he must use it wisely. Hou Yi ignored her advice and, corrupted by fame and fortune, became a tyrannical leader. Chang-Er, his beautiful wife, could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon, the Moon Fairy.
The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty, an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read, an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon, which, some say, explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. -

Long, long ago, there was an honest and kind-hearted fellow named Niu Lang (Cowhand). His parents died when he was a child. Later he was driven out of his home by his sister-in-law. So he lived by himself herding cattle and farming. One day, a fairy from heaven Zhi Nu (Weaver Maid) fell in love with him and came down secretly to earth and married him. The cowhand farmed in the field and the Weaver Maid wove at home. They lived a happy life and gave birth to a boy and a girl. Unfortunately, the God of Heaven soon found out the fact and ordered the Queen Mother of the Western Heavens to bring the Weaver Maid back.
With the help of celestial cattle, the Cowhand flew to heaven with his son and daughter. At the time when he was about to catch up with his wife, the Queen Mother took off one of her gold hairpins and made a stroke. One billowy river appeared in front of the Cowhand. The Cowhand and Weaver Maid were separated on the two banks forever and could only feel their tears. Their loyalty to love touched magpies, so tens of thousands of magpies came to build a bridge for the Cowhand and Weaver Maid to meet each other. The Queen Mother was eventually moved and allowed them to meet each year on the 7th of the 7th lunar month. Hence their meeting date has been called "Qi Xi" (Double Seventh).
