I've noticed that during the holidays, the days seem to move double-time. I have been going so fast trying to get work done, fit in shopping and of course keep up with Kaboodle ( I need a fun outlet and great ways to find gift ideas and share my finds!).
Still--It's suddenly December 16th (I know...right? Where the heck did 2009 go?!) and I've not wrapped a single gift, sent a holiday card out yet, or done laundry in a week....
I have to laugh because I know those aren't the most important things right now...but I tend to become really caught up in the details.
I am going to sit with my hubby and relax---we are off Friday and I can't wait to just relax for a couple of weeks!
How are ya'll enjoying the holidays?

RAINN (Rape Abuse & Incest National Network) An organization (whose celeb faces include Tori Amos and Christina Ricci) to end Sexual and Domestic Violence is teaming up with over 300 online retailers for 1% to 8% of the proceeds of any purchase you'd ordinarily make from stores like the GAP or Amazon to go to RAINN and help survivors of abuse get the help they need.
it's easy. You can go
here or download the
widget in order to add items just as you would from kaboodle. This is a great way to donate without having to purchase separately and still do good.
As a woman and a survivor I can't see a downside to this.

Our very own Conductor from Kaboodle is having a giveaway! Her etsy store has some superb pieces of wall and home decor that frankly knocked my socks off! I knew that her styleboards were truly awesome, and her work on etsy is a true testiment to her personal artistic ability. You should visit her store for great gift ideas, and decorating options!
Also check out the giveaway she is having. You could win one of her pieces for your very own!
I am enamored of the dandelions because they remind me of growing up making wishes and playing with flowers---I also LOVE this one on the vintage fridge--it's so cute :)

I just discovered this
site where you can get incredible deals each day. Some of them are kinda meh...but the watch and alarm clock are kind of cool--and my apartment is always in need of a new filter for recycled air. I think if I DID have this clock tho, I might end up smashing it to bits after a day, so the price is perfect, as I would need to buy several as backup...lol

It's getting to be fall (almost...) And I'm getting prepared for cool weather.
That means more outdoor excursions, because there will be fewer bugs! I love a good picnic in the fall leaves, so to kick off the picnic season, I give you some fantastic Pick-Nick Tyme goodies :")

I'm blown away by the new technology that the beauty industry has made available for at home use...I remember when a hairdryer and those plastic heated curlers with the nubs on them were the epitome of at home style...
Now we have products like the no!no! hair remover, the Zeno acne zapper, and drumroll.....
At Sephora the Silk'n Silk'n which says it will give the look of laser hair removal at home, and the TEMPTU AIRbrush Makeup System for face says it will give luminous all over coverage with foundation.
I don't doubt that these are breakthrough products, innovative and amazing, but I'll be saving a loooooong time until I can ever try them out :")
