I'm running forMiss Stardoll World 2011. Stardoll is SO much fun :)
I would love to win this and I just need votes. It's free to sign up, and tons of fun to use---You get to dress up a Medoll JUST like yourself. It's great for Kaboodlers like us who are fashion obsessed!
Thanks in advance and check Stardoll out!
My latest and hopefully will be greatest, is about my Thrifting finds in the DC Metro Area: http://thriftchicks.blogspot.com/ .
If you live in the vicinity, or are visiting--this is the place to go to find ucurrent thrift shop locations, and what treasures they may have inside. I'm planning on doing various pieces exploring each and detailing what each shop has the most of--the daily deals, and the specialty pieces you're likely to find there.
I also want to find the Best-of-theBest ONLINE Vintage sites, so help me out! That way I can post great vintage purchases, feature websites on my blog and share succesful buys, (and maybe get the word out for new shops!) so that new thrift shoppers won't be so daunted :)
SO, if you're a nifty thrifter like me--or you just like to find treasures, check it out!
and a gorgeous Sinequanone Pencil Skirt from Beyond The Rack for only $45.00.
I have some lovely staple pieces to add to my wardrobe :)
Thanks for the early B-day wishes :)
I feel blessed already!
I found these great Madden Girl Booties at a great thrift shop near me and snagged them for $12.00!
Happy Spring!
sooo---The top is from Filenes,
Pants-Urban Outfitters
Necklace-My Grandmothers
and the shoes from The Mustard Seed
In case you hadn't noticed, I have been absent from Kaboodle...
Things have been chaotic at work and home--good chaotic, but busy nonetheless. I was promoted from Human Resources to Executive Assistant to the CEO of my company--this is a huge honor, but it has meant organizing a great many things in my office, which has only made the disorganization at my home seem all the more glaring--and given me less time to manage it!
I have never been the type of person to seek outside help in matters of home cleaning or maintenance (except in extreme cases of home repair which are beyond my expertise...even those I grit my teeth and think, "I could have fixed that with a wrench and some elbow grease...")
Stubborn strong will runs in my family.
I am on a campaign in my home to get organized or die trying! Spring cleaning has hit me hard...With my rotary labeler in one hand and plastic bins and shoeboxes in the other I am a cleaning fool. Anything I can't use or keep is going to Goodwill.
Do any of you have handy solutions for getting clutter in order?
I am always looking for clever, artistic ways to get my clutter tidy--I am sort of over the Container store variety of organizing...
The snow has finally let up, Hooray!
Now they are getting dump trucks and towing it all over the city to get it out of the streets! It's unbelievable...I'm thinking warm thoughts and wearing more boots and leggings :)
Dress: Urban Outfitters
