    Crocs Mammoth Clogs -...
    Jibbitz Charms for CROCS...

These shoes have been on the market since ages and every time I saw them I just thought: eewww – they are not really nice. They are not girly or pretty at all. I just could never understand why people wear them. But all the times I asked somebody who’d wear these shoes they told me they are comfy and for nothing on earth they would change them.

However, I still wasn’t keen on them and was convinced I’ll never buy a pair myself ... until last November.

My mum came up to me and told me in a most subtle way that she really fancies buying a pair of Crocs. OMG! I mean why? She’d explain to me that there is a special kind of Crocs she wants to have – the Crocs Mammoth. They are especially made for winter and they’re waterproof as well. Mum wants them for wearing them around the house and to keep her feet warm in the cold winter.

Alright, I did pop around the Crocs shop in Westfield/ London and wanted to buy mum some for Chrimbo.  The shop assistant said I better buy them one size bigger as they are relatively small. I decided to try them on as my mum has the same size as me. And you know what? They were the most comfy shoes I’d ever wear. They still weren’t pretty and I refused to look down on my feet but they FELT like heaven. That’s ace! Unbelievable ... even if I didn’t end up buying a pair for myself as I prefer gorgeous shoes over comfy ones.

  • iPod nano

Now I have it! What a great little gadget! I love my new iPod Nano 16GB. I never thought I will ever be so excited about something technical. I always thought I don’t need an iPod but I definitely do. This morning on the train I held the purple wonder in my hands and I almost thought all the people around me where staring at my mp3 player. The tiny display shows great colours and is as clear as a 40” LCD TV.  When I turn the iPod the display turns around as well and I can watch all the album covers in a looooooooong row. And then suddenly – with a single shake of my wrist I can change the songs. It’s so easy and it surprises me every time I use it. How does this gadget know that it is shaken ? And just to let you know: you can switch this feature off if you don’t like it. It might be a bit impractical when you are on a bike tour or just jumping around in your room. Lock your iPod and the songs won’t change even if you rock your head off by dancing to the White Stripes....

What else do I love about my iPod? Well, I already have 1100 songs on it and still 10GB left. That’s pretty amazing though. Ah yeah, and I choose the purple one because this colour looks much cooler in real life than it does on the picture (in comparison to the green iPod where it is the other way around).

Cheers to many happy years with my sweet tiny iPod Nano!

    Pink flock spot plunge...

A couple of weeks ago I was on a shopping tour in town and made a stop at Debenhams. Originally I wanted to buy a fascinator for the Christmas party but to find these I had to walk through the lingerie section of the store.

I had  just a brief view on the stuff and wanted to go on as my lucky eyes saw the cutest and most colourful lingerie in the whole store.  All this stuff was from Floozie by Frost French and every single piece was gorgeous. They had pink bras with yellow dots and the underwear is decorated over and over with small bows. Sexy and girly at the same time...

I’ll make a poll later because I wanne have more of these sweet little undies (and I can’t decide which one I should get next).

I wanted to share this with you. I find it always difficult to get some good lingerie and I am glad I found a brand that combines the visual factor (sexy and girly) and at the same time the underwear just fits perfect. I’ll definitely buy more of them ...

  • SoundDock® Digital Music...

We have Christmas in about 16 days and I still haven't all presents ready. But today I got reminded to something else which is coming soon!
    MY BIRTHDAY!
Wow, it's the 23rd b-day and I start to feel old ;) I actually don’t like this age; dunno why. However, I thought I might get the same problem as every year. I always don’t know what to get and I am rubbish when it comes to my own wishes.

This year I got a brill idea as I thought about a pressie. The ones of you whom did read the iPod Nano blogazine know what I am talking about... I am getting this sweet little gadget for Christmas and now I thought also to get an iPod dock as well. But I don’t want any iPod dock; I want the BOSE sounddock Digital music system. I used to do some promotion for BOSE when I was at Uni and I loved the sound the speakers send out. I justify my wish with the fact that my old hi fi system is 14 years old and will give up working very soon. So I am in a special NEED for a new sound system. Why not the BOSE sounddock? Ok, I’ll give you the argument mummy had as I suggested her my birthday present: 300€ are far too much ... I know but .... Granny will help me; sure.  And I really want it L I’ll have this system for another 14 years because Apple won’t change their Click Wheel on the iPod that is necessary to connect it with the sounddock.

    Please!

  • Gaultier vs. Diesel

Things I love - a good perfume is something that can make my day. I don't mind if it's a good smell for men or women; all I need is the rich and full feel of an (expensive) perfume.

My latest purchase is the new fragrance of Jean Paul Gaultier. I first saw it in a TV advert with stunning Agyness Deyn and later I saw the big pictures everywhere all over the city. I went to Harrods and since I made the first sniff I totally adore it. Bought the nice fragrance and use it every day since. But now the curious story: this morning in the office a colleague was wearing the perfume I used to have before “Ma`Dame by Gaultier”. I smelled the Diesel Fragrance and it was so good! As she was walking past my desk a cloud of perfume was floating over my head. Hmmm, enjoyed it. And it took me about three minutes until I noticed that I was a proud owner of this perfume as well. Did this ever happen to you? You smell a perfume and think it’s good though and after a while you realise you have the same smell at home? This happened to me a few times before and I always feel like a fool afterwards ...

Weird thing and I don’t know why I react like this but this story is in my head the whole day now.

Please, please say I am not the only one J

Ah, she is walking past again, now I know ... :P

  • Compare prices : Apple...
    Green Apple

I know, I always said I want to have a Wii Fit for Christmas but now mummy said she wants to buy me an iPod Nano. I still don't know how she came to the point to buy me an iPod but I love her for that.
I already have an mp3 player but it's really tiny and has no big memory (526MB, I know, ridiculous). The thing is I never needed a bigger one nor did I think I must listen to thousands of different song when I just want to hear Robbie Williams in the end. I am bit rubbish with this. I got the mp3 player 2 years ago; put my music on it and never changed it since. There are just 8 albums on and yes, I am happy with this situation. I know every song line and can tell from the first second to which song I am listen to.
But now everything is different :) I have the chance to get a brand-new iPod Nano 16GB and I can’t say no. I decided to get the green one as it looks fabulous though. Never liked this colour much but with this iPod EVERYTHING is different...

Mum used to travel a lot and had a look on the Nano at the airports (and I think this is where she first spotted the sweet gadget) where they sell it for a cheaper price. I checked it in the internet (again the price comparison site J) and found out that it’s about £15 cheaper. So when I go home for Christmas I’ll collect my own pressie at Heathrow airport and put my new iPod Nano 16GB on the authority of mummy under the Christmas tree
