*a fatal attraction to cuteness*

i really like this cardi from forever 21, but when you look at it on the website, it's all spotty or stripy and whatnot. i think that other then that, it's really cute, so i need to know:
how spotty is too spotty?
would you buy it? (it's $20)
and
would i look weird wearing it??

when i first saw these cute little flower earrings, i thought, "what's the big deal?? they're kind of pretty, but they're not THAT great..." but when i read on, i figured out these little babies are made out of paper, and absorb and hold any scent you wear!! they're also disposable, so you throw them away after wearing them once. i think this is a super idea, i wonder if they make other types of jewelry like this... oh well. just thought i'd share something cool i found!! ;)

i KNOW christmas is only 2 weeks away, and right now i'm kinda starting to stress out over my holiday dress, you know, the one i'll wear to all the parties/church services and stuff??
in my styleboard, i put my 4 top contenders. i want a dress that...
~isn't too long
~is appropriate for church
~but not matronly
~i could wear past the holiday season
i would wear the dress with (black?) tights, some simple gold/silver jewelery, a black clutch, and either some oxford or peep toe heels. i'd probably wear my hair in an updo, or i might curl it...
i like the purple one because of the fleur de lis pattern on it. the cut is cute, and purple just so happens to be my favorite color! ;) the houndstooth dress is also really nice (esp. because i'm really into that pattern right now), but i don't know if it would be too casual. the cowl neck would be nice and toasty, though!!
the blue dress also comes in a darker red color.(as you can see, which is a little more holiday-ish) which color would be better??
my doubts about this one: is it too short or shiny to be appropriate at anything bet a party?
the last one is a cute take on the classic LBD, which i know i would wear again and again, but is it too plain??
so, what i want to know is,
which dress should i get (and in what color)?
any other suggestions?
is the rest of my outfit ok?

wow, this is really becoming a beauty blog, isn't it?? oh well... :)

now, as most of us know, the general rule is if you're sporting a strong lip color then back off on the eyes, and vice versa, otherwise you'll end up looking like as clown. i love to accentuate my eyes, but a good lip color (like i blogged about before) is also very sexy. :) for my eyes, all i do is mascara and plain black liner. maybe some beige eyeshadow. eye color is not usually something i delve into, as matching eye color to your shirt looks tacky while matching your lip color to your nails is cute. however, these intense eyeshadows from shana logic made me change my mind!! the black is vampy, and the other two would be cute for a costume or something. please vote in my poll for which one i should get first!!
also, please comment on whether you perfer a strong lip or strong eye, why, and any other tips you might have. thanks! ;)

i usually gravitate towards brighter colors, but this fall's about about dark nails and i'm loving it!!
right now grey nails in particular are really hot. they seem easier to pull off if you have slightly lighter skin.
purple is also a popular color for fashion this season, so it only makes sense that it should also translate to nails!!
a darker berry color might just be my favorite, though, as any skin tone can look amazing with it and it can be dressy or casual.
i hope some of you rock dark nails this season!!
(btw, there are some cheap polishes above if you want to try this trend on a budget!)
